With a creative and business writing background, Ana’s writing has appeared in Sybase Magazine, Zento, and Open Exchange. Through the marvels of cyber-space, she is the Mainland columnist and associate publisher of Maui Vision Magazine, which is published bi-monthly on Maui.
As a professional writer and principle of AH Communications, Ana specializes in developing branding and marketing communications for such clients as Alain Pinel Realtors in Palo Alto, Communications2 and Landscape Artists International. The former publicity director for author Alan Cohen, she has also promoted and worked with inspirational authors and motivational speakers such as Dr. Wayne Dyer, Sonja Choquette, Peter Russell and Sondra Ray.
Previously, Hays spent thirteen years working in academia and corporate America where she led executive education programs at the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business and at Stanford Law School where programs were designed to be an intersection between law, business, and policy and conflict resolution. Hays also managed internal employee fundraising campaigns for Hewlett-Packard Company and Agilent Technologies, raising millions of dollars for a multitude of charities.
Additionally, Ana is an Amherst Writers & Artists Affiliate. Through Write On Writers she leads creative writing workshops in Silicon Valley; at WomenCare a non-profit organization in Santa Cruz dedicated to serving women with Cancer; and retreats in northern California, France, Spain and Mexico.
She resides in Palo Alto, California.
